"Nice little cabins in the woods. Kianinny has a lot of extra facilities available if staying for a while. The highlight for me was the log fire, I had a blast setting up and building a fire then getting cosy by it. I wish I brought some marshmallows..."

"I Recommend staying here at least once, and definitely more than one night if you’re into nature. You have the privacy of your own cottage, amazing staff and activities! Our first night we were lucky enough to have the lake to ourselves and spent time canoeing. Second night, we played mini golf and I am still sore from laughing so hard at the fun we had between the four of us. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had two possums visit us, and there is the water duck bird (not sure the correct name) but he chills near reception and you are guaranteed to see him every time you pass. The canoeing and golf were at no extra charge and complimentary with the stay."

" We stayed at Kianinny Bush Cottages for a weekend and firstly found the property easy to locate, with creative street names within the parkland we found it easy to locate our cottage. The rooms were well appointed and although the kitchens were a little older it was clean and tidy and a very modern bathroom with a great shower that was really enjoyed. The reception greeting and the staff and cleaners were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. Well done to this great family owned business."

"Stunning place to stay and one that we loved so much we even extended a night. Staff were super accommodating, the property itself was fun, calming and brought back nostalgia of school camps. Lots of fun activities - mini golf, flying fox and archery for the kids in school holidays, canoes, tennis/basketball/bocce, walks, and a swimming pool. Rooms themselves are very comfortable and it seems from the reviews that they are all getting updated if they haven’t already. The owners/staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and lovely to deal with! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.."

If you are looking for a place to get away from the hectic city this is a place you can definitely find your inner peace. Very kid friendly and lots of activities to do. Wonderful pool area overlooking the lagoon. Cheers to the owners and staff here you are all doing an amazing job!!! Keep up the great work at making vacation memories for people."
Anthony John's Review | February 2024
"Best of both worlds and central to everything else on the Sapphire Coast. We (adults) loved stoking the logged fire in our cabin, walking around the grounds and enjoying the amazing birds and other wild life, as well as the pool and canoeing. Kids loved the mini golf, Easter egg hunt, flying fox, archery, old school DVDs and games. We all loved cooking on our cottages outdoor bbq among the trees (and resident Kookaburra), as well as all the local beaches, lagoons and coves (including Kianniny Bay where we fed the manta rays). Only a Short drive to Nelson’s, and Cuttagee and Bermagui - we loved snorkelling and swimming at all of them (especially the Blue Pool). Dad loved the in Cottage pod coffee machine and specialty teas - really nice touch. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough."

Tips for Planning A Holiday in Self-Catered Accommodation
Consider our tips for making your self-catering holiday stress-free.
- Plan your first meal: Cooking your first meal will probably be the last thing that you will feel like doing after spending hours travelling in the car and then unpacking. You can make your first night easy by preparing a meal in advance and bringing it with you. Make a meal that is easy to reheat and give yourself more time to enjoy your new surroundings.
- Keep it simple: No one wants to spend hours cooking while they are on holiday. Think of simple meals that are quick and easy to prepare, such as one-pot wonders. You can still ensure that they taste delicious, and you‘ll have the added benefit of minimal washing up after your meal.
- Visit local eateries: Give yourself a break and take the night off from cooking by visiting local eateries. Our staff has an extensive list of excellent dining recommendations that include seafood establishments, cafes, bar and grills, and local Tathra live entertainment venues.
