Kianinny Bush Cottages is located 3km from Tathra beach, making us the perfect choice for accommodation here on the coast. We have 100 acres on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, ideally situated in the middle of Sydney and Melbourne. You can relax and unwind in our fully self-contained cottage holiday accommodation on the South Coast.

Whether you want to get away from it all and relax close to the splendour of nature or have an adventure in mind, we are secluded enough to leave your cares behind, yet close to the beach and all the activities available in the hidden treasure of the South Coast. Kianinny Bush Cottages Offers Comfortable Accommodation in Tathra.

Reception & Kiosk 

Hours:

9am to 5pm: Monday - Saturday

10am to 4pm: Sunday & Public Holidays 

The kiosk in reception stocks ice creams, chips, chocolate, soft drinks, bottled water and alcohol for you to enjoy. 

We have a variety of board games, books,  dvd's and playing cards available at reception Free to borrow during your stay. Please return to the reception on departure.

Swimming Pool 

 

Located next to the Lakeside Deck. The pool is solar heated & available for guest use between 8am - 8pm. Children under 15 must be supervised by an adult. Pool rules displayed in the pool area. 

The ideal spot to unwind and indulge in the breathtaking view while basking in the warm sunshine.

Mini Golf - 18 Hole Course  

The 18 hole course is set up for children & adults to enjoy & explore. Putters, balls, score cards and pencils can be collected from reception. Course is free of charge for guests & can be used between 9am - 5pm for visitors & anytime for guests staying onsite.

Bush Pavilion _ oval

Sporting Courts 

Beach Volleyball - Located on the Oval, the court is always available for guest use. Volleyballs are kept at reception & accessible during reception hours.

Tennis / Basketball Court - Located near the Bush Pavilion. Tennis Rackets / Balls and Basketballs are available at reception. Please return after use so other guests can also take advantage of the facilities.

Bocce Court - Located near the Mini Golf Course. Balls are available at reception.

Canoeing on the Lake 

Guest Lake & Canoe Rules

  • Operating Hours: Available for guest use between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Canoes remain locked outside these hours to comply with insurance requirements.
  • Safety Gear: Every passenger MUST wear a Life Jacket (PFD) at all times. PFDs and paddles are located in the nook below the Lakeside Pavilion, directly next to the canoe dock.
  • Adult Supervision: Children 15 years and under must be actively supervised by an adult.
  • Lake Hazards: Please be aware that the lake exceeds 10 meters in depth and contains submerged tree stumps.
  • No Swimming: Swimming in the lake is strictly prohibited.

Commercial Laundry

The laundry is situated near the office. There are two washing machines and dryers.

Washing Machines - 

Top Loader Machine  - 5 x $1 

Front Loader Machine - 6 x $1 or 3 x $2

Dryers - 4 x $1 or 2 x $2

Coins & Laundry Powder are available at Reception.

Games Room

The games room is located off the Lakeside Deck & is open for guest use between 8am - 9pm.

Table Tennis and the Pool Table are free of charge. Additional equipment available in reception. 

 

The room also has a smart TV for guest use.

Onsite Bush Walking & Walks to Tathra Beach

You can get a map with onsite walking trails from our reception & you will have many trails to enjoy & explore. 

Tathra Beach is a 50 minute walk through the 'Tathra Wildlife Sanctuary'. Alternatively at the top of the driveway on the other side of the road there is a concrete bike path leading into town.

Walking maps available in reception for additional trails in the local area. Many local National Parks in the area for you to enjoy.
