With a diverse range of activities tailored to foster teamwork and lifelong friendships, Kianinny’s facilities are truly second to none. We provide everything you need for a seamless stay from comfortable lodge and cottage accommodations to flexible catering options and versatile shared spaces designed for both education and play. Located in beautiful Tathra on the Sapphire Coast, Kianinny is the perfect nature escape where teachers and students alike can forge lasting memories.

Accommodation

Student Accommodation (Lodges)

The lodges at our school camps are designed to comfortably accommodate up to 74 students. Situated around our shared common areas, these lodges provide a cosy and inviting atmosphere. Each lodge consists of three bunk rooms, each with 8 to 10 beds. With a split system for heating and cooling, fully carpeted floors, and private bathroom and toilet facilities, our accommodation options offer the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Please note that students will need to bring their own bedding and towels for their stay.

Students Accommodation (Cottages)

If you require extra accommodation for your students, we have cottages on site that can house an additional 50 students. These cabins have been modified to create a child-friendly environment and can comfortably sleep five students in each. Moreover, they are conveniently located near shared common areas for easy access.

Teachers Accommodation (Cottages)

Teachers / Support Teachers will enjoy complimentary accommodation in our Teacher Units. These fully self-contained, two-bedroom units are conveniently situated next to the student accommodation. Each cottage is equipped with a bathroom, kitchen and dining area, and a cosy lounge. Each cottage has a fireplace to keep it cosy.  Rest assured, we provide all linen and towels for your comfort and convenience.

Catering

A busy day at camp requires great nutrition. Our experienced chef prepares hearty, home-cooked meals right onsite using fresh local produce and creative planning.

Flexible Group Catering: Our menus are designed to comfortably cater to multiple groups at once. For larger year groups exceeding 100 participants, our chef expertly adjusts the menu to guarantee seamless service and exceptional quality.
Complete Dietary Support: We are fully equipped to cater for Vegetarian, Vegan, and Halal diets, as well as specific medical allergies. We send out dietary forms early in the planning process so every single student and teacher is safely looked after.
Dedicated Recharge Time: Because camp schedules are packed with activity, we ensure there are plenty of scheduled breaks throughout the day to sit back, relax, and enjoy our delicious meals and snacks.

Onsite Dining Facilities

Bush Pavilion

The heart of our school camp area is the Bush Pavilion, a vibrant hub where all the action happens. Nestled amidst the natural bushland, the pavilion is surrounded by school group accommodations, an expansive oval space, and sports courts. It's the perfect spot to host both small and large groups, offering a comfortable space for meals, group gatherings, and evening activities. From inside the pavilion, you'll have breathtaking views of the bushland, allowing you to easily supervise students during their free time, witness the excitement of activities taking place, and enjoy quality time with others. Our talented in-house chef prepares delicious school camp meals right here in the commercial kitchen of the Bush Pavilion.

Lakeside Pavilion

The Lakeside Pavilion overlooks our beautiful onsite dam. This open-air venue is perfect for hosting programs and evening activities, another great space for rainy-day activities, and provides ample space when hosting various groups. Adjacent to the pavilion, you'll find a games room and an additional commercial kitchen. Sit back and relax on the deck, taking in the excitement of the numerous group activities happening all around you. From the thrilling flying fox to the swimming pool and the exhilarating water activities, there's always something to captivate your attention. With this additional area, we have the flexibility to accommodate multiple groups simultaneously, ensuring there's plenty of room for meals and programming.

Shared Areas

Mini Golf

Our 18-hole mini golf course is uniquely designed to suit all ages, providing challenges for adults with shortcuts for kids. Our mini golf course can be used during the school group free time block each afternoon or alternatively during the built-in rec choice block in your timetable.

Games Room

The games room is an area attached to the lakeside pavilion. This space can be used during the school group free time block each afternoon or can be broken down and used as an area to host a movie during the evening. We can turn this space into another breakout area for activities to cater for specialised programming.

Sports Courts

We have a Basketball Court, area for Soccer, Volleyball Court and Oval space for the students to enjoy during their free time. These are all within walking distance of the bush pavilion, and we provide all equipment.

Bush Walking Trails

We have 100 acres of natural bushland here onsite. We have many walking trails that we use during our time moving between camping sites, and they are accessible for the groups to use. Our trails are signposted, and we have many beautiful trails to enjoy with our very own small rainforest on the property.

Swimming Pool

Our solar-heated pool is accessible during your visit with us. This is a popular spot for the afternoon free time during the warmer months. We do share this space with other onsite guests, and groups must have an adult supervising them at all times when using this facility.

Picnic Areas

We have a beautiful picnic area overlooking the dam on the mini golf side of the dam, along with underneath the flying fox. People can sit and enjoy the many wonderful team building activities taking place all around them, enjoy a meal in the sunshine, or use it as an activity space.
